I'm annoyingly disapointed in the fact that I was expecting a quick and sexy read, but all I got was a quick, not-sexy-at all read. There was no time to connect with either character and understand their sudden need to, despite only knowing each other online, suddenly hook up at a hotel they were both staying at for a work conference. (at least that's what I understood it was anyways) Georgia Fox tells you rather than shows you Alix'x encounter with this mysterious man while she's on her way to her dinner table and cum is dripping down her leg. There's an obvious pull between the two, but I never felt compelled to care why. I'm all for quickies, but I would like to feel a connection between the main characters. I'd say skip it, unless you don't mind short, unsatisfying reads. A very short erotic tale about two people who have met on the internet, carried on an instant messaging and email correspondence, and now have agreed to meet one time, no strings, and then move on. Yet somehow that isn't how it's working out and the ups and downs, the inner struggle each of these people must sort out is the substance of this story. I like this author so I read this little teaser of a tale. It's good writing, and the reader is carried along, not knowing how it's all going to end. It's a surprise and a good bit of writing. This is one of those lunch-time reads that goes well with the noon sandwich or salad. Enjoy!
