Shana and Jace. Well-crafted family drama with some romance and a bit of mystery/suspense. Played out a bit slow for me on all fronts. Then the ending felt rushed to wrap up part of the suspense plotline, with the villain suddenly providing an information dump to reveal how he masterminded the whole thing, earning a major eye roll from me. First book in a trilogy, one for each brother, so some plots carry over. Solid writing overall, but not really my style. OMG! I just finished A BROTHER'S HONOR and Lawd have mercy! I'm in such a good place right now. The storyline grabbed me right away. It was a very interesting page-turner. There were moments that melted my heart. There were moments that made me laugh. The characters were lovable. Jace Granger made an impression on me that will remain for quite some time.Brenda Jackson brilliantly told the story of how three teenage boys, who were raised by their grandfather while their dad was wrongfully incarcerated, grew into very successful and hardworking men who still possessed enough love in their heart for their family patriarch that fueled them to fulfill a promise. This was an excellent read that made me immediately reach for another Brenda Jackson book upon completion. Well written! FIVE STARS!
