I forgot why I left this series. The heroine is so pathetic going after her "mate" (all the while purported to be some kick-ass female—yeah, right), the "alpha" is a loser who is completely racist and keeps telling the heroine she's not good enough for her because she's not a "pureblood", and the only good thing was Misha, the vamp friend who kept being used and abused by both the heroine and her love interest, even being blamed for something the heroine did. God, he really needs to move on. I kept skipping pages to see if any of the characters would finally find their spines, but they never did. Loved this book! Sucked me in right from the start! The story is fast paced and addictive. It was very intense and emotional at points as well, more than once I found myself crying for my favourite characters as my heart broke for them. Equally I had moments of laughing out loud as Cecy balances the moments of emotional intensity with humourous moments to make you smile! It's a real emotional rollercoaster but well worth the ride! A couple of deaths in the novel (won't name names) some made me sad others made me cheer. Also we get to meet the North American Were Council (not impressed with their attitude) and we get clarification on Destiny's prophecy (she really needs to attend an effective communication seminar but I love her regardless!). Of course it ends on a cliff-hanger and has me dying to get my hands on the next book! The sisters (especially Celia) are put through the wringer in this book and I can't wait to see what happens with them next, at the moment, aside from Celia, I'm particularly interested in what's going on with Taran at the moment after an event towards the end of the book. Really, really need A Curse Unbroken right now!
What do You think about A Cursed Bloodline (2014)?
Review will be posted closer to the time the books comes out.
