A very decent, heart wrenching story. This book took me a while to finish, as the Nook book had 717 pages, but it was well worth the time spent. This book carried a good story about a demion that has been split in two. We find out how it is for Lori/Lucky to live like this, we also have some romance, and action, and all other kinds of good stuff. Lucky is still going to fight to find a way to put both of her halfs back together, even though she gave up the first chance because of love. In a story of someone torn apart, and trying to find a way to both survive and fix it, comes a action packed tale that can keep you up late at night. NOTE: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO CHILDREN OR TEENS, AS THERE IS SOME EXPLICIT ADULT SCENES, AND SOME VERY VIOLENT ONES AS WELL. I wasn't sure what to expect from this book but, I'm glad I read it. It's been a while since I've had an issue with putting down a book because of it holding my interest. This story did just that. There was some predictable things but, also, plenty of guessing that had me wanting more. I highly anticipate reading the next installment of the series and recommend this to anyone who loves paranormal, action, comedy and, love rolled into one story.
