Robert stopped and coughed hard enough to bring him up off the bed. Alex bit her lip, her stomach tightening. They’d barely made it to the hospital and the inquisition was in full bloom. An oxygen tube fed Robert air through his nose, a blood pressure cuff hummed on his arm and he was plugged up to several IVs via his central line and portacath. “...at the airport? What airport?
