I have some other books in this series but I really have to sya that this is my favorite one. The author did an amazing job with Casper’s character and the battle that he has went through, and is still going through, when it comes to his previous relationship. He has an awesome personality, one that you couldn’t help by love him when the book started. The author wrote his feelings very well to the point where when he was happy, you were happy. When he was sad, you were sad.Now with Slater’s character, I have to say that as much of a brat as he was, he was extremely well written. The determination that he had when he knew what he wanted, was just amazing. He did not give up no matter what.Watching as the relationship started between these two men was one that was really sweet to watch and follow along with it as they both dealt with the fears that they both had. There were quite a few parts in this book that made me tear up, so I would really recommend having some tissues handy. All in all, I would say that if you enjoy books that have the military theme, and aren’t an insta-love, then I would really recommend this book. Reviewed by Crystal Marie*Copy provided for review* 4.5 stars--Loved it! For a relatively short read, I found myself fully engaged in no time at all. I guess that's one of the beauties of a series. It was fun to see glimpses of the MCs from the previous stories, and it was great getting to know Casper and Slater more intimately. They were wonderful MCs, and their story was a sweet one, though it did have its share of angst.Very much looking forward to the next Men of Manhattan!
