This is my second book from Aric Davis and I truly believe that he is a genius ! Maybe an evil genius actually, these books are not for everyone but I adore them. This book is so unbelievably creative, the characters jump off the page , these are books that entertain and give you a ton to think about after you read it. I don't think I will ever look at tattoos and piercings the same. READ THIS !!!! and also anything else this man ever writes. Stumbled across this book in the Amazon library so I had no expectations. The first half of this book had no clear plot but surprisingly fascinating detail about tattoo and piercing processes, peppered with remarkable moments about loss and grief. No book jacket description would do it justice. The author HAS to have lost someone in real life. But then the plot kicked in and the book got super weird and even the amazing grief-y moments were cheapened.
Disturbing serial killer, tattoo artist that connect people to lost love ones. I really like this.
