Ok, so that first kiss was super good. Overall, a good clean read. I wish there would have been a few more stolen kisses. The romance portion was really good, but to few and far between for me. Classic family fued story. Mild Spoiler:Ok, what I didn't like is that Nick was supposed to be in love with her too, and the book starts to develop that then it just dives off a cliff and is forgotten. If you are going to do a love triangle, do it, if not don't even mention it. The book got a little preachy at times for me, but not too bad. Overall, I enjoyed it.Moral Note: Some mild innuendo's after marriage. I really enjoyed this book. The story had just the right mix of humor, romance, tension, and action. The characters were well-drawn and there were some surprises along the way that caught me off guard -- both in the plot and in how people's actions revealed things about who they really were - inside.The book reminded me a little of the old Hatfield and McCoy feud and how the failure to forgive can cause problems for so many people - infecting generations with the same disease of hate and bitterness. My favorite character was Nick. He stole the show. I would love for him to have his own story and find happiness.
