Whatever you are planning to read next, drop it and pick this book up!!!!!!.WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW !!!!!!!!I love mafia romances and I especially love a mafia romance where the heroine is not judgmental and self righteous.Eva was a lovable heroine right off the bat, I would not have changed anything about her. She was smart, loyal, funny and feisty. Gabriel was just soo damn hot. The sex in this story was HOT.I loved this book from page 1, this was an engaging story with a believable story line. It had me invested in the characters and rooting for the good guys. All the characters in this book where amazing. I cannot wait for Vincente's story. I hope Nancy continues with this series as she has a winner on her hands with this one.There where 1 or 2 things that confused me in the story but I forgave Nancy as this is her first book but well worth the time and effort, I took to read it. This book goes to my keeper shelf.Nancy Haviland is a new author to me and she impressed and I will be looking out for more of her books. I loved it! Gabriel was just amazing! I love having dual POVs and let me tell you, he is smokin' HOTTT! He just oozes sex appeal and you really feel their chemistry! I can handle a bit of insta-love when it's done right & this book did it right! It honestly flowed so well and I just couldn't put it down!! It's acton packed and sexy and I devoured ever bit of it!If I had to include 1 tiny criticism, it would be the amount of time spent on setting up another couple (that I see is getting their own book). It was good to get to see them in action, but their interaction was just a bit too long when there were so many other things going on at that time with the main couple. And there was a moment when I got a little lost in the big cast of characters and had to puzzle out the connections, but that didn't change my overall love for the book! Honestly, this is one couple I wouldn't have minded having a 2nd book (I sometimes feel like the 2nd book is a stretch). They had a lot of potential to expand their story and it would have been great to see them handle things and develop more as a couple for another book. Now I can't wait for the next book to come out!!
