I still think The Duff, Shut Out and A Midsummer's Nightmare should be considered companion novels. they're set in the same town, there are cameos from characters from the other books... I loved this one better, probably because it wasn't just about the romance, or at least the problems our protagonist was going through didn't last for only three seconds like in shut out, or 5 minutes like in the duff. I cried half the book, I laughed with it, in the end I really loved it. even if I thought this one, from the premises, was going to be the least relatable to me. I'm not saying I related to Whitley, because I didn't, but still I loved this book, can't do anything about it.
What do You think about A Midsummer's Nightmare (2012)?
This book was amazing, couldn't put it down. Loved loved loved it. Kody Keplinger is amazing.
