I read book 1 when I won it through Goodreads. I didn't like it much, but thought I would go ahead and try this one so that I could finish out the series. Let me say that I got it through my library - there was no way I was going to pay for it.I made it through 3 chapters before I had to give up. I was hoping for some growth since the last book, but after the 3rd reference to "The Cooch", I knew nothing had changed and I was too much of a grown up to finish reading. Way too many other books worth reading sitting in my Kindle "To Be Read" collection. This book is the second installment in C.L Parker's Million Dollar Duet series. Book 2 picks up straight after the cliff hanger ending in book 1.Without giving too much of the plot away, this book picks up almost straight away after the shock ending in book 1. Overall I really enjoyed this book. The storyline was funny, sexy and had a few twists and turns along the way that made it a bit more exciting.*ARC provided by netgalley in exchange for an honest review*
