Beginning with a fan letter sent by Eve Petworth to Jack Cooper,a best-selling American novelist, who has a dry wit, and loves to cook! They start their correspondence over a mutual interest in cooking and you see their relationship grow. Eve, a divorced single child, who suffers anxiety attacks, brought on by almost anything, and her fragile relationship with her mother and daughter, has brought her to search coping skills and find peace in her life! Eve considers herself to have been bad at mothering Izzy’s. Izzy's and Ollie's wedding bring up many emotions for Eve as she is confronted to see her Ex Simon, (Izzy's father) who has been estranged, and is now trying to make up for lost time. Jack, who is twice-divorced, and enjoying bachelorhood, is unsettled feeling as he approaches 50 years old. He meets a young girl named Adrienne from New York, a photographer and they begin an affair. She’s a vegetarian who hardly eats and this drives Jack crazy! Jack asks Eve to meet him in Paris, so they can go around Paris and delight in the wonderful cuisine! I wont spoil the ending....read this cute, quick read for your self! Финалът е един от любимите ми моменти в нея и поздравявам всеки с него. Ако книгата можеше да се опише с едно изречение, то ще да е любимата ми реплика от "Имаш поща" - "... не, но има копнеж за друг". А като бонус към прекрасната история получавате и купчина вкусна храна, безкрайно много начини за приготвянето й и рецептите за "Фъстъчените сладки на баба Купър" и "Коледния кейк на баба ми" :) Да ви е сладко!
