An Amish Mystery story. A good plot. A VERY good plot. So why the 3 stars? Because the editing of the book was weak. Ms. Flower knows her way around grammar -- that was NOT the problem. The problem is continuity. She would bring up a situation and drop in an action where it was not explained. For example, the key ladies in the story have lots of food. In a house they have just moved into. Yet not once have they gone to the grocery store. Several chapter LATER the trip to the store was covered.Multiples of these happened a LOT in the first half of the book. But NOT in the last half.I liked this story a LOT. But continuity problems can kill the flow of the story. Thus 3 stars. A mystery located in Ohio's Amish country. Chloe has moved from Cleveland to Appleseed Creek to become director of a small college's computer/IT dept. She befriends a young Amish girl Becky, who is being hassled by 2 mean guys along the highway. Becky helps Chloe move into a cheap rental house and they share the house while Becky looks for a job. But then Becky drives Chloe's and crashes it into a buggy driven by the bishop of Amish district.
It was refreshingly different! I liked it a lot.
