This is a fantastic book! The story was fabulous and I loved every one of the characters and Matthew and Kiernan were dynamic! Matthew is a detective who has been trying to get his life back together after his partner and lover was killed and Keiernan is a psychic who just might be the one to help him. There was a murder or a six year old child. Who does that? Who can hate a child so much that they think the world is better off without them in it? Matthew understands that there are many people sick enough to do unspeakable things to another person but Matthew has never experienced Abby. He can hardly accept what he knows to be real and this time he needs help comprehending what is happening. His sister in law, Sheila, points him in the direction of Keirnan. The story takes off and it doesn't slow down until the end. I had to re-apply makeup because my silly self put it on with 20 minutes left of the book. I honestly have to say that I didn't know for sure who the killer was until the book announced it and that is pretty awesome in itself. This is a must read for all those mystery buffs that enjoies a tad of paranormal. This was one of the first M/M books I bought on the recommendation of a friend and for some reason it has taken me a long time to start reading it. I am sorry I waited so long.I really enjoyed this book the development of the relationship between Matt and Kiernan went at a good pace and the underlying mystery of who killed Abby was well handled.I liked the two sisters in the book Sheila and Aidan but the fact that she was called Aidan drove me nuts, that is a boys name, I am in Ireland and I know a lot of Aidans but not a single one who is female.
