This is my first reading by this author and this (Book 1) has me going back to the library to get the other four in this "Amish Vines and Orchard" It shows how when there is a different personality in the family how quickly they can be preceived as different, add this to their way of life and one can only feel sadness of this young woman who was talked about and shunt in her own community. I love the addition of another young woman in her life which gave raise to another opportunity to perhaps move to an another community, a change which I am looking forward to reading about in Book number 2. Since I won the 3rd book of this series I decided to go for the beginning one. What I did not like about this book was that it is mostly a romance and I just are not interested in them usually. What I LIKED about this book was that it is set on the Amish community and apples happen to be coming out of my trees like crazy right now, so canning and preserving are on my mind. This was inspirational in that level.
Excellent. People with problems forgive and work together to solve more problems.
