A Tale Of Two Demon Slayers, An Urban Fantasy Romance (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
I picked this book up at a writer's conference. I have not read any other in the series and, yet I figured out the ending about halfway through. Sometimes, this is not a problem, especially if I am interested in the character and her journey, but Lizzie hasn't grabbed me the way I would like. She seems to have an interesting background but, in first person, she can become irritating. She seemed to come close to addressing important issues several times (i.e. sacrificing her own wants for the good of others) but flutters around them like Flappy. Dimitri is too perfect, I mean, all heroes have issues, right. The biker witches are a scream and Dimitri's sisters have serious potential. I will probably read other books in this series to see if it digs deeper. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the "Accidental Slayer" books! The characters are fully fleshed out and uniquely individual. You don't always understand their motivation, but I don't always understand the motivation of my nearest and dearest. Its part of the human (or human plus) condition. As we head off to Greece in this installment her new lifestyle becomes even more challenging for Lizzie. However, she again rises to the challenges and manages to come out on the other side more capable than she realizes. Her motorcycle-riding granny and her motorcycle gang of witches are always good for a rescue with a lot of mayhem and laughes.I look forward to reading anything by Angie Fox!
What do You think about A Tale Of Two Demon Slayers, An Urban Fantasy Romance (2013)?
a much faster read than the last one. I like Lizzie better as bad ass than a whiner!

By this one the Hog riding grannies are out of control. Still it's fun.
