The first book was much better. It was engaging and I like the characters, but the story line was not polished. There were many times when things did not add up. There were many typos. As a Christian book, I did not like it when the preacher at the funeral of a suicide victim assured folks that she was in heaven. He had never met her and the previous chapter definitely did not indicate that she had accepted the Lord as her Savior. It only mentioned that she was glad to know that there really was a god. I liked the story line very much especially the 2 women who were shown grace by the men.. Sad Kitty killed herself but she felt her life wasn't worth living... i hadn't read the first book but now that I know its Will's hero .. I will seek out the story of Clayton... just wondering if he 3rd book will continue on with Will n Jamilyn and Scout who is going back to Texas to find the lane he won in a card game.... I am so glad somethings have changed..but those aunts didn't even want to hear Jamilyn's version.... gossip only... yes can ruin lives....
What do You think about A Texan's Honor (2012)?
It was a good book. I enjoyed it.
