Hats, boots, chaps, and spurs! Bull rider Dante Rivers is used to being in control. He has his career, runs the ranch for his Gramps, and takes care of him as his ALS progresses. When he meets Ryan Abboott and quickly starts falling for him he starts questioning everything about himself. When the rumors about his sexuality are confirmed his sponsor threatens to sever ties it brings a whole new plate of stress to the table and also brings violence with it. Both men have to figure out how to navigate the new life they have started together.Once again Andrew Grey has given us a heartwarming yet sinfully sexy tale. The passion between Dante and Ryan practically leaps off the page. The love that Dante has for riding is portrayed extremely well. Reading about Gramps really made me miss Jefferson in the Range series. It makes me wonder if Mr. Grey had/has someone equally as wonderful in his life that he models these characters after. If he does then he is a very lucky man. The only thing that I would have changed in the story is the little bit of BDSM flavor that was there. I think the story was wonderful without it. For me it needed to either go a little further or be left out completely but it really wasn't that big of a problem. The characters and the story were so well developed that it was easily overlooked. Like most of Andrew Grey's works this one was kind of sweet. Dante tries to take care of his grandfather, the ranch, and do what he loves riding bulls. Ryan comes in and help Dante to realize he doesn't have to be in control all the time with a little bit of kink in the bedroom. I feel like there was something missing in this story but I'm not sure what. It was a good story about two guys meeting and falling in love with some hot sex.
