Humourous, clever & fun novel featuring Evelyn & Godfrey, who live in a world where new technology allows people to 'envision' their romantic futures with current, former or potential partners in specialised Drs offices (how specialised depends; don't be surprised if this technology comes coin-operated, and either way, beware of addiction). Evelyn has recently seen the future with her ex-boyfriend - it was too cheesy - and Godfrey's maybe-fiancée would like to ensure their future looks right before she'll wear the ring. It read for me like a movie, my Godfrey somehow ended up being Justin Timberlake - sufficiently cute and able to poke fun at himself (though I just couldn't see the prison-version). Good stuff! The author dialed his Quirk Factor to level twee and left it there, but this book does have heart and humor. Evelyn and Godfrey are deeply flawed and fumbling, but they are lovable. Do not expect an examination of repercussions of a future technology - this is not science fiction. The "seeing the future" bit is merely a mechanism for mitten-wearing young adults to fall together and apart and say adorable and witty things to each other. I didn't necessarily respect this book, but I do feel affectionate towards it.Oh, and Evelyn is a librarian.

Very strange, fairly well written. All in all I was a sap for the love story. Unique perspective.
