Accidentally Flirting With The CEO (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
Shadonna Richards really takes her reader on a joy ride with her short series " Accidentally Flirting with the CEO." The reader is automatically engrossed in Alexa ( main character) panic attack as she sends an erotic email she wrote for her online class about she and her boss, to her boss on accident. The reader heart begins to race along with Alexa's as she tries everything to keep her boss from reading the email.The story goes on with many twists and turns once the boss is aware of Alexa's attraction towards him. All while Alexa is embarrassed and scared for their career because of a simple technical mistake. The reader is left wondering what happens next as the story cuts off in the middle of a work vacation. Oh my...This one was pretty bad. I had about 15 pages to go and I just couldn't do it. The writing was lacking, the characters were annoying and the repetition!! Ugh! The author wasted so much room on unnecessary details. Oh, and what was that list of 15 evaluation questions?! That should have never been mentioned, just one of the many things that made my eye twitch in annoyance. I will not continue the series or read anything written by this author again. Sorry if it sounds harsh!:/
