Another fantastic book from Kathleen Brooks. I can't get enough of this series and the characters. You just immediately fall in love with every single person in that little town. This books made me cry happy tears again. One of my favorite scenes is the brothers on their horses trying to save the cattle from the fire. Great action and I could picture the whole scene in my mine.I definitely recommend both of Brooks' series. Fabulous story. Few authors capture you with every character in their story. The supporting cast is absolutely thrilling and funny. I love that she stays true to her supporting cast of characters and they make me laugh every time I pick up one of her stories. The depth of Miles back story was a wonderful page Turner for me. She hinted in Rising Storm that the brothers past in the Delta Force affected them more than they realized. But she hadn't explored it and I love that she did with Miles. Morgan I loved as the lead female. Ms. Brooks has given such depth to her female characters each book that you can actually relate to them. And I'm dying for Cy's story. All the hints and ground work has got my imagination going. But I'm excited to see Piece and Tammy's story next. Five books of ground work on that has me intrigued.
