What do You think about Adevărul Despre Cazul Harry Quebert (2012)?
I liked this book. Essentially a detective story. The central plot moves forward on three parrallel threads: the evolution of an illicit affair between a 15 year old girl with a 34 year old college professor/novelist that occurred over thirty years ago; the murder of the girl and the ultimate arrest of the college professor 30 years later; and the efforts by a former student/friend of the professor to find out the truth behind the murder while at the same time asking himself how could his friend possibly have had an affair with a 15 year old girl and committed this horrible crime. Over 600 pages long and as many twists and turns as the streets in central Rome. You are going to either love this book and get swept away in the story or set it down half way through that it is too much. But I suspect that you will never guess the ending.
