4-4.5 stars. I love stories with awkward or quirky heroines and Cleo is no exception. She is an intelligent girl with an active imagination but she's a little insecure in the intimacy department after her last relationship. Adrian is the most beautiful guy that Cleo has ever seen and from what little she knows about him, she recognizes that she needs to stay far away from him. Too bad that's not what Adrian wants, he has his sight set on Cleo and only Cleo. What follows is a fun and sweet story about them getting to know each other and how people aren't what they seem on the outside. Adrian is an admitted man-whore but once the purpose behind his behavior and why he's so set on Cleo is revealed, it becomes obvious that Adrian is a great guy at heart willing to put everything on the line for her. Cleo looks for excuses to push him away even though the project her roommate has them working on keeps reuniting them. I loved Adrian, there's nothing more attractive than a guy who goes all out for a girl knowing it might not be reciprocated and seeing how much he adored everything about her. Cleo is hilarious but she is also a good person, friend and sister. There are some serious elements in the book, too, but overall it's an enjoyable and light read.
