If I didn’t know better, I would’ve thought some unknown presence was trying to get my attention. I knew the concept was crazy, but that’s how it felt.Crazy. It hadn’t occurred to me before, but now this reasoning somehow made sense. This whole day had been so stressful, it was a wonder I could still function. In fact...They’re now about twenty yards away, the voice said, interrupting my thoughts again.I continued lying motionless on the cold ground. If that strange voice was right, any sort of movement would get me shot.
