This book was very pell-mell, which is pretty much the only apt way to describe it. It felt like it rushed through things by dragging on with the horror thing, if that makes any sense. I mean it was an intriguing and well-written read, but as far as story-flow I felt like it could have gone a little smoother. That said, wow do these authors write well together!!! Amazing writing, and while the plot seemed weak, I still loved this book because of it's awesome writing and the characters. The characters were great, and I loved the dialogue and relationships between them. Only thing I was confused at, was I thought Aimee should have been a little more miffed about breaking up with Blake. Hadn't they been dating forever? But then suddenly she meets Alan and *bam* Blake is out of the picture, things click perfectly with her and Alan, and yay happy ever after! Not saying I'm upset with her ending up with Alan, I just thought it could have been done a little less cliche. Her brother and Grandpa were a riot! Marilyn Monroe cheeto bwhahahahaha! As far at the plot, again, I kinda wanted a little more of the River Man thing and the Native American roles in that explained a little more, but oh well. It was still a good read, I enjoyed it, and I might buy it. But again, the authors sure know how to write. Maybe need to work on the plots they come up with, but still and again, I enjoyed this book. If nothing else, it's a good one-timer worth reading. This was an amazing story. It held some Indian folk lure, which had completely rocked my world. Then it meets with the paranormal elements, like possession, and the romance was captivating. It was a great read. I totally recommend you read this book if you haven't already.Aimee, a red headed, green eyed, high school student in Maine, believes she is going crazy like her mother did. Although she doesn't believe the cause of death to be suicide. She saw the demon her mother was chasing away. Now with everyone around here appearing angrier by the day, she fears the demon is back, and worse yet, trying to posses Courtney, her best friend. Courtney recently lost her dad in a commercial fishing accident and believes he is still alive. she doesn't want to give up hope and invites the demon into their lives believing he will return her father to her. NOT!!!!!Alan is Courtney's cousin, and new boy in town, moving in from Oklahoma to help Courtney. His mother drags him there to help her sister pay the bills. Alan has seen Aimee before though. He's had dreams about her and be knows something is going down when they start talking. He is part Navajo Indian and has a keep sense for the unusual. All in all, and without giving anything away, I adored this book and suggest you read it too!
