At first, I felt that the book was just OK. As an adult, I didn't connect that much to the high school setting. However, as the book progressed, I was able to connect with the characters and my view of the book changed a lot. I am eagerly looking forward to the next book!On the surface, this is a sweet romance between high school seniors. Deeper inside is the story of having a loved one struggling with addiction and how it affects relationships, self esteem, etc... I think anyone in the targeted audience would enjoy this book. For young adults dealing with an addict, I think this book could be a very powerful read.I would like to thank the author for giving me a digital copy in exchange for an honest review.
