That was why he had watched the news of his little present at Pimlico tube station with something like satisfaction. He didn’t mourn the dead. They would be forgotten soon enough. They always were. It was his campaign of terror that would linger in people’s memories.It seemed astonishing to him that anybody other than the one person already in on his game could have noticed his code.
