Alice-Miranda At School (2010) - Plot & Excerpts

Eh, where do I freaking begin...Ah, yes...Alice Miranda may be quite cute and charming, also sweet, but there are many flaws as well. For one, this main protagonist, Alice Miranda, us very annoying and a true nuisance. Who they heck just barges into someone's car? Who unexpectedly breaks into a principle's office without permission given? Who just befriends someone under 10 seconds? Very unrealistic, creepy and plain strange. Alice Miranda is adorable but is a EXTREMELY annoying, repent too perfect, unrealistic, and creepy character. She also never gives a break at all. She is like a perfect goddess, not making mistakes and creating only mass perfection and warding her problems off with money. I say, she is too perfect. Nobody is perfect, except for her, of course. She's dainty, flawless, beautiful, perfect, charming, smart, high class, kind, and intelligent. I have even gotten to the point where I say she's smarter then Einstein himself. He was probably the most clever and smartest man, yes, but he made mistakes, too. Unlike this stupid Alice character. What a issue...Oh yes, we cannot forget about Head Perfect Althea. Like always, we have the little miss perfect, wealthy, rich, pretty, cute, mean and snobbish blonde haired girl with blue eyes and peachy smooth skin. I hate this character. I replaced her name with "Barbie" instead of Althea. Made more sense. Thus just shows the book is really cliche. You have smart, geeky, cute brunette who does everything correct and blonde mean popular rich girl who is terrible and rude. Now where's Ken in all this...oh yeah. Finally, you have the whiny little nerdy crybaby. Booh hooh on this book.Lets sum this up, shall we? Crap book. I have had mental five year olds that don't know how to spell yet write better then this garbage. This novel was so bad, it made me puke and cry. I am not going to read the rest of this trash series, thank you very much! How can people like you like this? Never mind that...Truly awful, don't dare read... I probably would have enjoyed this as a child, because of the boarding school element. I was curious to see a more modern take, but was confused. Is this a parody? A mocking of Mary Sues? I don't think so, perhaps it was serious but I found it a little hard to believe. The main character is called Alice-Miranda Highton-Smith-Kennington-Jones, and even I, Kirsti-Lee Farmer-Gillies being my legal name, find it a mouthful. Probably fun to read aloud to small children, but not quite Enid Blyton.
