I ignored the papers for the time being as, quite honestly, I was more interested in the box and what was inside. The box was a lot bigger than I'd imagined, and I had to open it on the front stoop just to get some of the more valuable items through the door. The box held everything I needed and more. Books and templates on how to make the masks seen in Venice. Feathers, sequins, leather and even rope. But along with all the supplies, there was a personalized note. Once you're used to making these out of paper and cheap cloth, I have a challenge for you. I want to see the kind of mask you think someone like me would wear at a place like The Limelight. I turned the piece of paper over, but there wasn't anything else. I looked from the letter to the leather and rope Jake had ordered for me. Well, at least that explains his reason for getting the leather. What I didn't know was how to fashion a mask that would be suitable for a Dom, much less the one I was with. After transporting the essential supplies from the front stoop to the guest house, I locked up my work area and sat back down in Jake's living room.
