Jake grabbed a trolley. It was over-sized with a large seat at the front for adult boys and girls to sit in. But Ally was an adult for this shopping trip. Jake wanted her input when it came to buying her food for the next week. He was going to be keeping a close eye on her diet. She had agreed to try one day at crèche, which he was pleased about. He’d already spoken to the crèche director about watching Ally carefully. So today, she walked by his side as they made their selections, instead of sitting in the seat of the trolley. “Jake, Ally, how are you both?” Jake looked up to find Marc, a friend of theirs, smiling over at them. His little girl/wife, Lily stood beside him, fidgeting. “Hi Marc, hi Lily.” He smiled at the little girl who continued to move back and forth. “Hi, Doc Jake. Hi Ally. Aren’t you a little girl today?” Lily asked, seeing Ally’s big clothes.
