Loved the dynamic between Lark and Declan. I do wish we'd gotten to see, instead of just be told dispassionately, about Lark's past. It would have made him all the richer a character. Declan, as the Alpha, is commanding. Truth be told I wanted to see him command-eer himself some restraints and lay on some hands so Lark could get an erotic spanking. Alas - it was not to be found although it def. seemed like it could be a fantasy. The side story involving the little girl was very cute and had undertones of racism - I really like that the books show all sorts of people together. It makes them more fun to read :) Another good read; not as great as the first book, but good, nonetheless. It was nice and different to have a black Alpha who happens to be from Ireland with his thick brogue. It was also interesting to see Declan paired with the highly effeminate Lark. Now why did Lark have to have such a big mouth and talk back to people? I don't like abuse and this lost a star when Lark gets abused twice. Once is bad enough. I did like the side story of little Sara.
What do You think about Alpha's Prerogative (2011)?
Love it again. Some personages change of profession, other of height. Need a better editing.

Loved it as I did the other books in the series!
