Maybe I should have been more insistent that he explain what it was that was going on. Perhaps I should have told him he couldn’t stay that day. In doing that though, I think I would have shattered him worse than he already was at the time. I just hadn’t known it until later and I’m grateful that I allowed him to be with me even though I was unsure.To this day, I can’t seem to find out the reason why we molded together so well. Some people have asked me what it was about him that made me change my mind and allow myself to fall in love. I can only explain it by telling them that it was a number of different things, it was everything. Zeppelin was my other half. Our souls were meant to know each other. It was as complicated and as simple as that.Of course the road to where I am today is paved in many more struggles and heartbreaking moments, but they are mine, they are ours, and I know that today will not be any different. There are more things to come my way that might hurt. I will surely cry and have bad days, but those beautiful moments will always pick me up when I am down and carry me through.I was standing at the window of the small room I was in and peering out at the lawn below.
