It is kind of hard to rate this book, as I thought each story sort of deserved a different rating. I liked most of them okay, except Fan Fictions, I didn't like that one at all. This is a YA book, & a quick reading book. It is one I will NOT keep & will trade, although since it was such a fast read, I felt the time was not wasted. None of the stories really stuck out too much to me, I did enjoy Stupid Perfect World probably the most, but the again I like Scott Westerfeld's other works. I am not giving it a bad rating, per se, I just didn't love it or find it very remarkable. I think a younger person might like it though. It just didn't do anything for me as far as thought or depth. The word that comes to mind is meh... I enjoyed all of the stories in this book. They were fast paced and full of interesting concepts and characters. My favourite was Stupid Perfect World by Scott Westerfeld. I loved and enjoyed the characters, world and story so much that I was sad when it ended; I wanted it to be a whole novel. As well I really liked the last story about the seal shape shifters. It was a new and fresh concept on a mer-like creature. Thumbs up all around.
What do You think about Amori Infernali (2009)?
I got this book for the Scott Westerfeld story and it was worth it.
