I received a free copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. This is a very amusing book with a witty insight to the madness that a break-up can cause. The drunken binges, the constant texting and calling, the crazy on-line stalking. This book has it all and more. It pulls together a great cast of characters who help each other through their own break-ups in a similar style to Alcoholic's Anonymous. Only instead of just having the twelve steps and the serenity prayer, some of the women end up staying at Sophie's house in a form of rehab. With a pregnant Indian woman, a recovering alcoholic, a yoga teacher, a woman who has tried everything that's going and a woman whose boyfriend dumped her and then starred on a reality tv show to find a bride, Sophie finally starts to heal, to get over Eric dumping her to be with his secretary. This is a well-written story with a great insight into how women cope and the strange lengths some will go to, to try and stay in contact with their ex in some strange and bizarre way. I received this book as an ARC through NetGalleyI really enjoyed this book. It was funny, light, and most importantly, true.In everyone's life there's that relationship that no matter how hard you try, how much wine you drink or how great your friends are, you just can't seem to shake it. How great would it be to have a weekly meeting of women just like you? Women who wholly understand your reasoning behind following your ex and his new tramp on Twitter. This book showed the lowest point of the main character's breakup and followed her through her healing process. She started LAA or Love Addicts Anonymous. With the help of her fellow group members she came through on the other side. The book wasn't all about her though. Each member of the group overcame the hurdles and obstacles that were left from their previous relationships.I would definitely recommend this book. It's a fun read!
