I thought this book was a fun, easy read. Typically, when I begin any book of this genre I look more towards the entertainment factor than anything else. It was a quick read, didn't take itself too seriously, and left me liking the characters enough to want to read the next book. Sometimes I like to read serious books, and sometimes I just want a lighthearted beach read. This book was great for the latter. There were some details in the plot that were fuzzy or didn't line up, but nothing that distracted me from enjoying the book. Honestly, I didn't begin this book expecting to be blown away, I was just hopeful for easy entertainment and I got it. SInce I am on a fixed income, it is rare that I buy new books and more rare that I buy a book by someone I've never read before, but this book looked good and it was one of the best purchases I've made in quite a while. This book is hilarious!!!!! Elise Sax brings to mind Janet Evanovich and Mary Janice Davidson. This is the kind of book that has you rooting for the heroine every minute and wondering which of the hunks she's going to end up with. No spoiler here, she still has 2 more bbooks coming in this series. Anyway, READ this woman's books, you will not be disappointed.
