Young Timothy wants to prove that his grandfather is fine and that he doesn't have to go into a nursing home. He suggests he and his grandfather go camping and fishing and together they seek to borrow his grandfather's old truck camper from the veterinarian who purchased Grandpa's veterinary business. Timothy figures this trip would prove to his mother, stepfather and grandmother that his grandfather can take care of himself and that he really is okay. Timothy learns some hard lessons.What a wonderful story! A quick read. I could definitely imagine this as a made-for-television story.Is it a story for the young? Yes except it does talk about the male genitalia (in reference to bear) (but then his grandfather was a veterinarian).
