Angel cake: a look into the mind of a young polish girl living in England with a crush on the school's bad boy. This book wasn't as good as the others in Cathy Cassidy's series but still a really good one. It shows her struggle of the obvious language barrier she posses, the emotions of a young girl developing a crush while subtly tackling issues teenagers face in schools today. Overall a good read for a girl in her pre-teens or maybe even her teens. I first read this book when I was probably about 12 years old and loved it! I read it because I had previously read Cathy Cassidy's book Lucky Star and also thoroughly enjoyed that. I'm now 16 and re-read this book probably four or so months ago and still thought it was as good as the first time I read it so I don't really believe Cathy Cassidy books are just for tweens. There's just something about her books that make you want to be involved and you feel like you have a connection to the characters whether you really do or not. Plus the little romance in this is absolutely adorable!
Again absoultly adored this book when i read it! I was so fond of the title aswell
