Angels' Dance (2012) - Plot & Excerpts

It was a great read. Earlier - while reading Elena training with Galen I thought about him as a little bit high-and-mmighty and always thinking high of himself while low of others. Now I abolutely don't and I started to like him as a character as much as my favourite ones. I just misunderstood him because he wasnt properly described. :)I also loved Jessamy - even in mentions in main books - her relationships with children and then with older angels. She's just lovely but I can't help and I pity her. We all know how it is to want something so much and never get it - and how hard it can be when it's also making you very different from your own race. Poor Jess. *REVIEW HAS SPOILER-RELATED INPUT*Cute, detailed, intriguing insight into Angelic courting. Jessamy's so dedicated though; it's hard to imagine her really being gone from the Refuge for over a year. Though I did enjoy imagining the coloring of her wings - so unique! On that note, "Dancing" as they call it, sex while plummeting seems more accurate and sounds more terrifying than exhilarating. Whether you've had wings all your life or not. Logically speaking I have trouble seeing males with the back muscles for wing movement/execution deciding to suddenly drop the innate movements in favor of no movement while trying to have sex WHILE falling out of the air and then sharply snapping back up. It seems to me it would put WAY more pressure on the back muscles and detract from what we all know males are usually focused on at the time. While the idea of executing the fall for the female's pleasure-sake is idealistic, that's the extent I can see it as. It was nice though to also see a glimpse of Raphael's territory around the Tower before civilization built up around it.
