This is only the third Guild Hunter story I've read, as I'm trying to read them in chronological order.While the first two novellas felt like complete stories, this one didn't. I don't know if these characters are introduced within the books and this is a stop-gap story. At any rate, it's as well written as all of Nalini's stories are, but I can't (currently) fit it into the story arc.I'm hoping that as I continue to read the series it will make more sense. This is a short story in the Guild Hunter Series, that fills in about characters who had minor roles within the series. I loved having their stories told to make this series feel more complete. This is the story of Janvier & Ash who show up in many of the full Guild Hunter books, and just completes them! Devotion and loyalty to not only their leaders and mates, but each other leave you feeling very good at the end of each story, and looking for the next one!!!
