Well, we've completed almost two years in the life of Brandy Bourne and she and her mother Vivian have participated in the investigation of more murders than most people deal with in a lifetime. Meanwhile the plot thickens around the ongoing thread through all the books regarding the Bourne family history. I've gone through the series and I suppose I have to wait now for another to be written. Full disclosure -- I won Antiques Disposal by Barbara Allen from Librarything. This is Barbara Allen's seventh story in the Trash 'n' Treasures series. It takes up the adventures of Brandy and her grandmother Vivian, as they stumble their way through solving crimes in the small town of Serenity. The story is written from each of their perspectives, with special notes for the reader's edification from both Brandy and Vivian. The story begins when Vivian is told by the owner of a local storage facility that a storage locker coming up for auction has some 'good stuff' in it. Vivian makes sure that she is the successful bidder by spreading chocolate sprinkles on the storage locker floor, and pointing out the 'mouse droppings' to the other bidders. As Vivian and Brandy are collecting their trash 'n' treasures from the locker, they find a body...and their adventure really begins. I laughed out loud at some of their antics, and it was a pleasure getting to know the zany characters as the story unfolded. After reading this book, I may just have to read the other books in the series!
As bad as Antiques Bizarre was, I am adding this as a book that I have no intention of ever reading.

This book is just ok. It's what I like to call a "cute little mystery".
