The premise of the story started off very well, however about half way through I started to find the plot quite laughable.Very rarely in a book do you find something far fetched as long as it is well written and in keeping with the rest of the book however it got to a point in this book where it became so confusing and weird it took the scary side out of it for me and with about 50 pages left, I gave up altogether. Apryl travels to London, England in order to sell her great aunts apartment in Barrington House. Her aunt had recently passed away but she was a little crazy. Apryl stays in the apartment for a while but she doesn't like it. The entire building is very creepy and she feels like someone is always watching her. Apryl will try to unravel the mysteries behind Barrington house that drove her aunt crazy but how?I picked up this book because I liked the cover and because I read the little summary on the back of the book and found it interesting.I finished this book because I really wanted to see what had happened to Apryl's great aunt and what was going on in apartment 16 in Barrington house. The book was really good in the middle but the ending was terrible.I would have recommended this book too Ambika but she wouldn't have liked the ending. I also would recommend this book to Nithusa because I think that she would really like this book because it is a little creepy and I know Nithusa likes creepy books.
The stuff of nightmares. Adam Nevill knocks Stephen King into a cocked hat.
