Once this book really took off I was completely and totally enthralled. It's the kind of story that you can't exactly describe because, to begin with, the holes are so numerous you aren't even sure what's happening. All you're certain of is that you cannot wait to get to the bottom of it all. And believe me when I say I found the initial confusion well worth the resulting excitement. Plus, the fact that there's two parts makes this book that much sweeter. All I can say is "not bad." Not great, but not bad. This is story of a woman with a perfect past which really makes no sense. Come to find out this perfect past has been concocted and she is actually ****SPOILERS****** a clone of her former self, who was naturally a badass and part of the resistance to prevent this from happening. Yep, this is the stuff of thrilling movies, people. And that's how it feels - that this book was written solely to make a movie. I think this could have been told in a three minute preview and it still would have been enough. I do have to say that it was thrilling enough to make me want to search out the sequel, so there you have it. It won't be on your greatest books list, but I bet you will want to see the movie if ever there is one.
What do You think about Archetype (2014)?
I couldn't get into the writing style. It sounds interesting but I just couldn't get into it.
