Oh, my God. I can't exactly believe I read this? I cannot in good conscience recommend this to anyone, but I laughed so hard. It's ridiculous, and only sometimes in the good way. Like, Mr Collins is Phil Collins. The singer. Lydia's shocking downfall is that Wickham seduced her into taking an editorial job - that was actually (gasp) an unpaid internship! I never read 50 Shades of Grey, so I'm really guessing as to what elements came from that, but it really was bizarrely hilarious. But so so bad. This was an amusing parody of pride and prejudice and fifty shades of grey. It is not meant to be taken seriously. It is full of dodgy puns but was enjoyable enough to read over an afternoon. Some reviews have said that the characters aren't like the originals in pride and prejudice but that is a good thing. It stops you wanting to take this an anything more than a bit of lighthearted fun.
