I loved it! There are many contests that I have entered which as who is my book boyfriend. Usually I say there are too many to pick. The reality is, as much as I love the book, I never put myself in the relationship to say “I wish he was my boyfriend”. William is my book boyfriend!! I loved his strength as a master but also is vulnerability and kindness. He shows that you can be a Dom and Master without being super strong and cruel. I also loved both Ellis and Harte and their strength as slaves, each very different from each other. It was an interesting world that I would like to know more about. This is a wonderfully sweet and lovingly crafted slave-themed story. There's so much sex! My menage cup overfloweth! I couldn't stop grinning at all the group sex going on. So hot! There are some dark, horrific events in the book but it was tastefully handled. Then, there's the sweet, romantic bits. Beautiful, tender moments between the main characters (Ellis, William and Harte) showcasing the growing bond between them. Such a pleasure to read. The large cast of characters that appear throughout Ellis' life as a slave created an additional layer of enjoyment to my reading. Although the moments with Fen and Caleb were brief and painful (for the majority of their appearance), these two remain my favorite of the bunch. Gabriel's story broke my heart. For some, the sweetness of the story may be off-putting in a slave fiction. The sweetness drew me in and the beauty of the story kept me there.

Some of this was really hard to get thru but in the end it was worth it. I loved it.
