Avoiding Amy Jackson is another fabulous addition to the Infamous Series by N.A. Alcorn. I loved Amy's character from the moment I met her in The Infamous Ellen James, and I was so thrilled to get to read her story!!Amy Jackson is a snarky, sassy, and highly hysterical female who is unapologetic for all the sarcasm, wit, and ridiculousness that comes out of her mouth. And I freaking loved her. She was such a fun character to read, but I have to say my favorite thing about her was reading about her past that comes up in this book. That past explained so much about Amy and why she chooses the things she did. Amy was just a phenomenally developed character who I couldn't help but love, and I never knew what that girl was going to say and do next. She is a gem.Dr. James Williams is another character you meet in The Infamous Ellen James, and it was wonderful to spend some time in his head. Amy and James have a pretty memorable moment when they first meet, and it was just fantastic to get to understand that more. James is just a good guy, and the things he feels and thinks for Amy even when she's keeping him at arms length, just had me loving him more. He's also hot as all get out, so there's that too.Amy and James have a complicated relationship with one another. They have an intense attraction, but when that begins to lead to more, that's when it gets really interesting. Reading these two try to figure it all out was just magnificent, and through it all I had a smile on my face. As this book is connected to The Infamous Ellen James, many characters are connected within this story. That just made me love the book more!! It really just brought these characters together in a way that made the story come to life from the page, and I loved every word of it. Avoiding Amy Jackson is a outstanding book filled with truly engaging characters, a story that will just pull at your heart, with more sass, humor, and crazy ridiculousness than you can shake a stick at. It's truly a fantastic book that you need to read as soon as humanly possible. The nicknames for the characters alone will sell you, so don't miss out on this freaking fantastic book. 5+You know when you're feeling down on your luck, you had a crappy day, Amy Jackson would be the girl to call.I enjoyed this book! I couldn't stop laughing at how crude Amy and Ellen are when they areTogether. Now for James, Mr. Soup-Can (I can call him that, yeah?) he's so perfect for her! The fact that I was Marine, had me laughing at our motto! Hahahahaha! LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
