(Jake) I’m sitting on the damn roof outside my window, finishing up a smoke. I will say one thing. The fucking view from this place is something else. Green hills, trees, and the sun setting in the distance. If I gave half a shit, I’d remember this. But it’s all bullshit to me. I’ll hang around as long as I need to. I’m about ready to just take some cash and split. Open my own shop somewhere and start collecting old cars and fixing them up. Rebecca cut off my trust fund, but she’s a moron. I always keep a little bit of cash with me. I hide it everywhere I can think. Clothes, bags, even my car. If I had to total it all up, I’d say I’m good for thirty large. Not enough to survive on, but enough to disappear on for a little while. I know my dream is to get out and open a shop, but if I took thirty thousand and hit the road, I’d blow it on booze and chicks. I’d end up broke, my dick limp, and a hangover that would last for weeks. But it’d be worth it. I look to my right and see another window.
