4.5 stars! Back on form! Broken at love is one of my favourite contemporary romance books as i fell in love with the tortured characters of Quinn and Emilie, but I was disappointed with the second instalment as i didn't really connect with the characters...this book is so much better than the second! I love Toby, his internal conflict and struggle to please his parents and help save Kennedy - a girl who believes she should be dead - really gripped me. I loved the relationship between the characters and so i enjoyed this book immensely, almost as much as the first one! :D Nice book, kind of weird reading it from the whole "guy" point of view and only to tell the story of Kennedy's part as a third person! Still romantic and a good story lineToby the perfect golden boy with a perfect gpa and with an amazing heart, not ready to commit to any relationship being a solitary guy for everything that happened to his addicted to drugs brother who disappeared 4 years ago while sick with HIV never thought he would find love and himself in Kennedy, a girl who the loss of her family at 12 years have made her wake up alone in a hospital room, had caused her not wanting to live, drowning herself in alcohol to try and feel something besides emptiness! They found themselves on each other, Kennedy refusing to admit herself that being happy with Toby was ok, and Toby, putting himself and his feelings out there like he had never before, in hopes that his feeling towards Kennedy would make her want to get better, only it didn't happen and Kennedy only got worst!5 stars from me and all of the Whitman series are right there, can't wait for Sam's story with Blair!! Looking forward to book number 4! I wish there was a book about Sebastian
