So, I read this book at the library and at the end of it I had like 8-10 kids listening to me. So I read 2 more of Karma Wilson's books and some grandma asked if I do that every Tuesday... No, but maybe I could.Ok Karma Wilson has a great and fun cadence In her books, I want her to write my eulogy or something. I mean what I'm saying is that there aren't many kid authors out there that are writing such fun books that are this enjoyable to read out loud. Thanks Karma! Bear says...THANKS!Yeah, not gonna lie: my heart hurt a little when a bored Bear decided to throw a feast for his friends only to discover his cupboard was bare. Ah, kid.Only real issue: if--spoiler alert!--Bear's gift to the crowd was a story, why didn't we see him tell one? You can read Bear books to younger kids (I do right down through preschool), but right around 1st they'll get way more of the plot/vocab.
What do You think about Bear Says Thanks (2012)?
Love the illustrations. Perfect read for Thanksgiving.
