I really was setting myself up for failure when I read this one, shouldn't have bothered but I like to read a series to completion, you know. Tie up loose ends. Here goes. Chloe and Bennett are getting married. Their tension-filled romance is finally bringing them to the alter and, it is amazingly boring, unbearably dull. Christina Lauren (the team behind this) have put pen to paper and created something that probably shouldn't have been published at all but I'm thinking their wine glasses told them otherwise. It might have seemed like a splendid idea - seeing your stunningly beautiful characters finally make it to the pinnacle of romantic love - but it fell so flat that they created little roadblocks for their family and friends and it was pretty awful. Plus they had Bennett decide that he and Chloe can't have sex in the week before their wedding to make it seem more 'special' on their wedding night. Also terrible. Many levels of terrible and awful.So. Read it to see how it ends and just look forward to November 4th (so very soon, you know) when we get to hear more about Finn and Harlow in book #2 of the Wild Seasons series. They should just focus on that one. This is the final installment of the beautiful bastard series. I enjoyed it. Chloe was kinda pissing me off trying to be all big and bad. She whined a little too much and was a little more stubborn and pigheaded than I would have liked to see. I will admit, I skipped the other BB books because I really wasnt interested in Will and Max. I read BB and The Office version of the original story so I knew they got engaged. I just wanted closure. I enjoyed this novella a lot more than I originally thought I would and will admit that going in I didn't have very high expectations, shame on me. The story was funny and witty and I may actually have to go back and read the other books just to see if I was wrong. I happily give this a 4 star rating for Bennett was beyond sexy and sweet and no less a bastard for it :)
I can't believe that this series end! I want MOREEEEE!
