OMG!! This is crazy good! I've never actually read an MC book so I don't have any frame of reference and didn't know what to expect. I'm assuming this is a far cry for the usual MC books because gosh was it explosive and twisted yet beautifully written.I kinda guessed who Vin/Luke might have been because I didn't see any other way this supercharged conflict/drama was going to end otherwise. For awhile there, I was worried he was a spy for the MC. But all's good.. Phew!!I wish there was a happy ending for Hold. He did truly love Helen/Keller even though he did make bad choices or maybe he just couldn't see a way out, what with his dad being so crazy and all. My heart aches for the boy that Hold was and the man that he became. I suppose that's real life - not everything has a happy ending.As for Luke and Helen, they had a pretty organic relationship. It wasn't one of those instalove stories and I liked that about the story. It progressed beautifully and naturally and seems more realistic. Don't get me wrong. I do believe in instalust or what we would normally recognize as attraction but I don't quite believe in instalove connections.I have one gripe about the story though. There's no epilogue!! I want to know what happens after they make their getaway. I want to know how Luke deals with seeing Helen's injuries. And now I'm curious as hell to know whose story will be in Forever Inked #2 since Beautiful Ink is a standalone. OMFG!!!!!Nicole Reed has completely blew me away with this book..the fact it's true events wows me even more. I've read at lot of contemporary romance lately so I wanted something that was gonna completely overpower me n take me to a different world...n my God this did just that!!!Mc books are one of my fave genres I love the raw gritty intensity of them which holds me to every single word!!!Helen...what a brave little soldier she was I had so much respect for her...Holden well I kind of got him n I really do believe he loved her with all his heart but he was scared that ward would kill him if he didn't love the club more..that bein said she wouldn't of met the gorgeous vin who showed her what real love was!!! I think I'm right assuming there's gonna be a #2 cus it feels to me that things were kind of left up in the air and a hfn......Nicole Reed I am sooo gonna be reading your books from now on cus I LOVED this it completely drew me in and I couldn't put it down til I finished it this morning this gives a whole new meaning to mc..please let there be another!!! I can't rate this because 5 stars just isn't enough it is way way better than that!!! :)
